Awww, Katy Perry donates $5k for TLC's new album

Told y'all yesterday that T-Boz and Chilli are trying to raise $150k for their new album and set up a Kickstarter crowd funding page where fans can donate. Read here. Well, a huge fan of the group, singer Katy Perry made a huge donation to them today.

According to TMZ, Katy is such a fan of TLC that when she heard about the fund raising, she gave $5grand for the cause. TLC has so far raised over $100k.

30 Days in Atlanta has been declared the highest grossing movie of all time in the history of Nigeria. This was confirmed by Ben Bruce who did a countdown of the six highest grossing movies in Nigeria and how much they grossed (see video after the cut). Following its record-breaking Box-Office success in Nigeria, Friday, January 30th, 2015 has been announced as Accra’s Premiere date for ‘30 Days in Atlanta’ – The AMVCA 2015 multiple nominee and award winning movie

 

The Premiere is a Red-Carpet event scheduled for Silverbird Cinemas in Accra Mall by 6pm. it will feature some of the major cast and Crew of the Movie, including AY, Ramsey Nouah, Ada Ameh, Desmond Elliot, and the two stars representing Nollywood in the film – Majid Michel and Juliet Ibrahim. 

After the premiere in Accra on January 30, '30 Days In Atlanta' will definitely remain in Cinemas across Ghana. it will also be on a Premier Tour around the globe to other African Countries, including Atlanta, Houston, London, and Canada.

Gone Too Far Impresses Cinema Guests

Few weeks ago we announced the release of the highly anticipated British Nigerian Comedy starring the hugely talente‎d and handsome OC Ukeje. 

Well, the film started its run in Nigerian cinemas on Friday and all indications are that it is living to the hype of being not just a well made film but every bit funny throughout the entire 90 minutes. Some cinema customers went as far as comparing it to Nigeria's biggest boxoffice smash hit '30 Days in Atlanta' in terms of the comedy elements.

One of the guests we spoke to at the Filmhouse Cinema, Samonda Ibadan said 'wow, I don't think there was any 5 minutes throughout the film that I wasn't laughing really hard that tears were flowing, what a lovely film, one that everyone should see to put them in a nice mood'

Another guest commented 'OC Ukeje is such an outstanding‎ actor, he shows tremendous versatility in Gone Too Far and does it in such a honest funny way, I'm glad I saw this film'

Synopsis

When London teenager Yemi's big brother come to live with him from Nigeria, Ikudayisi's (OC Ukeje) terrible fashion sense, broad Yoruba accent and misplaced confidence with the opposite sex threaten to destroy Yemi's already small amount of street cred. Movie: HALF OF A YELLOW SUN

Watching the suspended version of this old-modeled and fiction of the "BIAFRA WAR". I quite see why the NIGERIA of today is still suffering on imbalance of inner wars of Reliance. The movie pictured quite some deviations from the story told by witness of the events in these times.

I just would like to post for reviews of this movie and comments on what this is all about.
